Hi,

My name is Olivia Cruz and I’m twenty three years old. Actually, I’m studying Commercial Trade at the IPN; this career will allow me work at the Marketing, Sales or Publicity Area of an enterprise.

At the moment, I’m work for Bimbo´s Company as a Marketing Manager and I like it. Bimbo is one of the most important baking companies, with a big production and a good sales volume around the world. In Mexico and Latin America it is an undisputed leader in its area; also it has presence in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Bimbo was established in Mexico in 1945. The first plant was located in Santa María Insurgentes (Mexico City). At first, the Company produced only the large bread, the small bread and toast bread. The black bread production began in January 1946, and by the end of the following year, the cupcake and pound cake line was already on the market.

Today, Bimbo produces and distributes in the market over five thousand products, like loaf bread, cupcakes and pound cakes, small cakes, sweet and salted snacks, and some other products. The most important product lines of Bimbo are: Lara, Marinela, Barcel, Ricolino, Coronado, Suandy and Tía Rosa.

In the last year income from sales increased in a four percent; but in the present month, it is falling. But, the income from advertisements is reaching a peak.

I hope in the present year, that the incomes from sales rise steadily. The company is looking space for in other markets, like Germany; I’m sure that we will obtain that market.
